Lucía is a partner at BERKEN IP and has been with the firm since its inception. Originally in charge of the firm’s strategic communications, marketing and business development initiatives, nowadays her involvement also extends to other functional and management areas such as human resources, operations improvement, accounting and administration.
Currently, she serves in INTA’s Research Advisory Council and Brands and Innovation Committee for the 2020-2021 period. In the latter, she is Chair of the Content Subcommittee. Previously, Lucía served in INTA’s Impact Studies Committee for two consecutive periods and participated in the Brand of Excellence Committee from the Association of Intellectual Property Firms (AIPF), which focuses on Business Management for IP Law Firms.
Before joining the firm, she was responsible for IBM’s Business Partners Communications in Spanish South America.
Lucía earned her Communications Degree and later on her Master in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the Universidad de San Andrés. She is also a registered Patent and Trademark Agent at the National Institute of Industrial Property.
