Lucía is a Partner at BERKEN IP, where she leads the firm’s strategic communications, marketing, and business development initiatives. She plays a key role in strengthening the firm’s brand, market presence, and client relationships, while supporting BERKEN IP’s continued growth and development. She is actively involved in the firm’s general management and works closely with the partners and different teams on initiatives related to strategy, operational and process improvement, and long-term growth.
Lucía is engaged in the international intellectual property community, participating in conferences and contributing to the International Trademark Association for more than a decade. She currently serves on INTA’s Law Firm Committee (2026–2027) and is a member of the association’s Research Advisory Council, where she is serving her fourth consecutive term. Previously, she served as Chair of the Brands and Innovation Committee (2024–2025) and was Project Lead for the joint INTA/ASIPI Impact Study, “Trademarks in Latin America: Economic Impact in 10 Latin American and Caribbean Countries.”
Lucía holds a Degree in Communications and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), with a specialization in Marketing, from Universidad de San Andrés. She is also a registered Patent and Trademark Agent before the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI).
