Soledad is a patent engineer focusing in the fields of chemistry, biotechnology and pharmacy. She is involved in patentability analysis, drafting of specifications, prior art searches, replying to office actions and translation of patent specifications. She has over fifteen years of experience prosecuting patents.
Before joining our team, she worked at the INQUIMAE (Instituto de Química Física de los Materiales, Medio Ambiente y Energía) from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, where she was in charge of physicochemical studies and tuning of equipment for analysis.
Soledad holds a Degree in Chemistry (2005) from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and covered part of the Biotechnology career syllabus from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa.
She took Postgraduate courses “Biotechnology Regulation and Protection in Europe” (2005) and “IP Update Program” (2006) from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
In 2019, Soledad was the Argentine candidate chosen by the AR PTO to participate in the “IPR Training Course for Practitioners Specializing in Patents” organized by the Japanese Patent Office in Tokio.
